Collection and usage of personal data of applicants
We would like to point out that we will collect and use the personal data that you provide us with because this is necessary to complete the application process or to conclude and execute any employment contract.
In view of this necessity, you are obliged to provide us with the personal data required for this purpose. If you provide us with no or insufficient personal data, we may not be able to carry out the application procedure or enter into a (possible) employment contract with you.
We use your details to communicate with you about the progress of the application procedure, the assessment of your suitability for a position that is or may become vacant as well as the possible handling of the expenses incurred by you.
Period of retention of personal data
We will remove your application data no later than 4 weeks after the end of the application procedure, unless you have given us permission to keep your data for a maximum period of 1 year.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your computer, tablet or smartphone during the visit to our website. Information is stored in these text files that is later recognised again by the website during a subsequent visit.
Our website uses tracking cookies if you have consented thereto. We do so to collect information about your internet behaviour so that we can present you with targeted offers of products or services. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Your data are stored for at most one year.
We also place functional cookies. We do so in order to make it easy to use our website. This includes matters such as keeping products in your shopping cart or remembering your login details during your visit.
Analytical cookies allow us to see what pages are visited and what sections of our website receive clicks. We use Google Analytics for this purpose. The information collected by Google in this way is anonymised as much as possible.
Your rights
You have the right to ask to view your own personal data. If there is a reason to do so, you can also ask us to add to your personal data or to change any inaccuracies. In addition, you have the right to ask for your personal data to be deleted or to restrict the use of your personal data. You can also object to the collection and use of your data. If you think that we handle your personal data incorrectly, you can submit a complaint about this to the organisation that supervises the privacy rules: the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens). Finally, you may request to receive your personal data or transfer it to another party.
There are restrictions to the circumstances in which you may exercise the above rights. If, for example, we need your personal data in order to comply with the law, you cannot object or request a deletion.
